I think Pirri has to play in the top 9 to show his value. Might make Buch the odd man out to start the year.

Hrvic could def get picked up I think, Jensen too if there is a team who is banged up with depth forwrds. Looking forward to fully concentrating on a Rangers game for the first time this night in the pre season. No distractions.

Posted this right at the end of the last blog...so you all can really feel the pain.

We have the same rooting interests, (Jan) Rangers, Jets, Mets. I'm almost 40 & can go back to 1983 w the Jets, 84 w the Mets & 85-86 season w the Rangers. We have seen 86 w the Mets & 94 Rangers. Squat w the Jets besides a few AFC CHampsionship games.

It really is the million dollar question, I know my Wife thinks I'm insane, why we do it to ourselves? 99.9% of the time we are disappointed in the inevitable final result.

Wtf? What else are you going to do? If you don't support something then there will be a gap that can't be filled, the ride the ups the downs, the passion. My advice to you is change over to a Pens fan as the only difference!

Because hockey is a cold, cruel, seductive mistress.

Not sure about the baseball and football.

I am soon to be 30.

I have seen the 08 Phillies. So lets do some math.

120 sports years (seasons).

1 championship in 120 years of sports.

Buch is starting in the top 9 you guys are clowns if you don't think so

Can't believe so many regulars on here are essentially rooting for Buch to fail. He's our top prospect give him some props.

Sports are sports & a die hard fan is a die hard fan. I don't get soccor, or basketball but I get the passion, the agony of defeat when I see it.

It's not that, I just don't see AV benching Pirri or Hayes to play him to start. He can still be the top prospect but he might not play opening night

Has Vesey outplayed Buchnevich though?

Vesey has a goal...a wide open tap in...and that's the only stat as far as I'm aware that vesey beat out Buch in. But Buch has had more A+ chances than Vesey imo.

They have been pretty even. After the whole Vesey derby I don't see them sending him down. I like Buch I want him to play, I am just saying with the huge amount of top 9 forwards right now I just don't know if AV will. Unless a trade comes

I am being realistic here. Both have had their ups and downs so far in the preseason. I am not picking sides in this fight. Just saying how I see it
